I would do A LOT of internships to gain experience, not only to build your resume but just so you know how the field works.. it’s eye opening compared to the “controlled” classes that you take in college.

Embarrassingly enough, I don’t really workout. I used to a ton, but with my busy schedule, I really don’t fit it in.
In college, I used to do 30 on the elliptical, 30 doing a circuit of weights and 20 doing stretching/situps/pushups/etc. I used to do that 4-5 times per week.
Earlier last summer, I ran about 2 miles everyday for a good month which was great.
I plan on trying to get back into the swing of things, though. I don’t mind running for 20 minutes and then doing 20 minutes of push ups/situps/planks/wallsits/etc. We have a treadmill in my house so it makes it easy to run regardless of the weather.. I shouldn’t be making any excuses!!

Like you said, it’s the “rule” to start wearing white after Memorial Day, but I know what you mean about being down south and it being warm and seemingly appropriate.
Honestly, I don’t think there is a “rule” anymore. I have seen on several style blogs and mags people wearing white with riding boots in November, so I say do whatever you like!
In Virginia, I wore summery prints and fabrics and my white a lot earlier than here in Pittsburgh. Here in Pittsburgh, I will probably wait until Memorial day to wear my white (which kind of stinks because I just got the cutest white eyelet shift!!).
