Anonymous asked: Hi there sCe! I was just wondering in your opinion what would be the better summer sandal, Tory Burch Patent Millers or Jack Rogers? If you had to choose one pair for the summer, which would it be?

    Answer:

Hi! Without a doubt, Jack Rogers! I don’t really care for the TB Millers, although, I know that’s an unpopular opinion because they are a very popular choice!

Anonymous asked: Hi sCe! I love your blog! I was wondering if you could do a post on cute Fourth of July outfits and accessories. I know it's really early but it's one of my favorite holidays and I'm already making plans and getting excited for it!

Sure! I will get one up ASAP! Thanks so much for reading :)

Anonymous asked: Loved your blog today about dressing, I like you follow trends, but for the most part do not wear them. Even in High School I dressed preppy, and I am going back to the 70's. You have great style, so if it's not broke, don't fix it...

    Answer:

Thank you so much for your sweet comment :) thanks for reading my post too!

Anonymous asked: Was it hard to break in your Ferragamo flats? I just got a pair and they are pretty stiff.

    Answer:

Not at all, they were quick to break in. They are just notoriously a more structured, stiff shoe.. But I found after a few wears, they were super comfortable!

Anonymous asked: I have a new grandniece, and I would like to get her the Eloise Doll I saw pictured on your blog. Where did you find her?

    Answer:

Congratulations, that is very exciting! The Eloise doll would be a perfect gift, however, I got it on RueLaLa after hunting for several years. It’s a Madame Alexander but I don’t think they make them anymore. You could try searching Ebay for one! Good luck :)

Anonymous asked: What are some of your favorite date places in Pittsburg?

    Answer:

Oh boy, where do I even begin?!
Italian: Girasole in Shadyside or Il Pizziolo in Mt. Lebanon or Market Square, La Tavola on Mt. Washington

Sushi/Asian: Umi, Littke Tokyo, Soba, Tamari, Penn Ave Fish Co

Other faves: Nola, Monterey Bay, Mallorca, Grand Concourse, Yo Rita, Bistro 19, Bella Cucina, Tessaros, Casbah, Avenue B.

I literally could name 1,000 fabulous Pittsburgh dates but if you give me more date details, I could pick a perfect place. Like if its a first date or first time to Pittsburgh or what type of food/atmosphere you’re looking for! You can email me at SummerWind41490@gmail.com if you’d like specific suggestions!

Anonymous asked: Have you ever been in a long-distance relationship? What are you tips for being away from each other during the summers?

    Answer:

Yes! Several, actually. They are rough.. I think communication is key. If you can’t communicate, chances are, it will never last through the distance. Also honesty/trust is crucial!

It helps if you plan visits in advance so it gives you both some time to look forward to!

But while you are apart, I think it’s a great time to spend time with your friends and family and have ‘me’ time which is sometimes hard to have if your significant other were around all the time! That’s an optimistic way to look at the situation!

Anonymous asked: Do you ever feel intimidated by other bloggers?

    Answer:

Not at all! I find so much inspiration from other bloggers and have made life long friendships through blogging. If I ever felt ‘intimidated’, I wouldn’t do it!

I think it’s easy to get ‘caught up’ in a negative comment, though, or negative feedback, but that is just part of life and comes with the territory. Not everyone is going to love Summer Wind and I am totally fine with that!
