Anonymous asked: Hi summerwind! I know you've probably answered this plenty of times and I've been trying to search for the answer, but where did you get your monogram necklace? I love the size of it and have been looking to buy one for a while now.

    Answer:

Hi! I actually don’t publicize where I got my necklace too often because of the poor customer service that I received. It is Moon and Lola and I got it through Swell Caroline. They said 4-6 weeks for delivery, mine was ordered in the last few days of November and didn’t show up until the latter half of February. It was awful!!!

Then, when it did show up, it tarnished right away. I had to send it back and have another one made and didn’t get a new one until the end of April. It was such a long process and really made me angry.

So, with that said, I wouldn’t and haven’t ordered from Swell Caroline since then. I would check out Etsy. I know KetiSorely has some great options— but I just don’t know the quality/service you’ll receive since I’ve never ordered from them. Good luck :)

Anonymous asked: Hi! Do you think that Bean boots or Hunter wellies are the better choice for a rain shoe? Thanks! Love your blog

    Answer:

Hi! Ohhh that’s a toss up. It depends on what look you are going for and what your climate is. I would say Bean Boots are more perfect for snow. I have the Bean mocs and wear those when it is raining but my feet would be too hot in the Bean Boots if it’s only raining. The wellies are great because you can wear them with spring outfits  or winter outfits. Bean Boots are more of an October-February boot.

    Hope this helps!!

Anonymous asked: Hi sCe ! As far a shep shirts go which colors do you like best and how do they go as far as sizing ?

    Answer:

I have a salmon-y pink color with blue shoulders and I love it. I didn’t get the classic navy one (which I love) because I wanted the Shep Shirt to wear with jeans and I thought the navy was too much navy. But now that I have a pink one, I want a navy one— it’s the classic option!

cCm has a turquoise one and I really like that as well!

As for sizing, they run pretty TTS, however, I got a medium because I wanted mine to fit a tad on the baggy side and it does. A small would be more fitted looking.

Anonymous asked: Hello! I was wondering if you've ever heard of snobswap, and if you have whether you like it or not. xx. sBg

    Answer:

Hi! Nope, never heard of it but I just googled it and it looks somewhat like an online consignment store… pretty neat!

Just make sure sites like that are legitimate…I am always a tad apprehensive with sites like that!

Anonymous asked: Hi, Ive been reading you're blog for a while now and it is definitely my favorite! i wanted to ask you how you dressed so cute in college even on a tight budget? thanks !

    Answer:

Thank you so much, you are too sweet!!

I was most definitely on a somewhat strict budget in college. Meaning that I didn’t really have much of a shopping budget. Most of my money went to food/fun outings/etc rather than clothes/shoes/etc.

I’m not going to lie, my parents played a big part. Here and there, my parents would give me the go ahead to buy a few things for myself/when they would visit or I went home on breaks, we would go shopping, which was wonderful and I am so thankful and appreciative for that.

Besides that, I worked every summer as a lifeguard and saved up a lot of money that would last me through the school year.

Overall, I didn’t really “shop” during school. I did with what I had and would re-wear things in different ways. I am a clothes horse so I already had a lot to play around with. I usually always shopped things that were on sale, too! I also borrowed friends/roommates/sorority sisters clothing.

So basically, I would suggest shop sales, borrow from friends and get a summer job. Those three things will help you to stay on budget but still be able to add to your wardrobe! Hope this helps :)

Anonymous asked: Hi there sCe! I was just wondering in your opinion what would be the better summer sandal, Tory Burch Patent Millers or Jack Rogers? If you had to choose one pair for the summer, which would it be?

    Answer:

Hi! Without a doubt, Jack Rogers! I don’t really care for the TB Millers, although, I know that’s an unpopular opinion because they are a very popular choice!
